Default CLUTCH PROBLEMS!

My throwout bearing is making a horrible noise while driving down the road. I called the local ford dealership to see how much it would be to put in a whole new clutch kit and they quoted me $480 labor and the clutch kit was $393. This seems like a rip off to me.I could just get the throwout bearing fixed but then I don't want the clutch going out and paying all that labor again.Does anyone know of acheaper place in or aroundAthens Ga to get this problem fixed? How hard would it be to change the clutch without a lift.

its gonna be pretty hard to remove your tranny without a lift, when I had my king cobra clutch put in my buddies dad did it for/with me at his job (ford dealership service garage) for nothing, but he said that if I had to pay it would have been 400 just for the labor, but the clutch only cost just under 200 and thats the ford racing clutch, so your labor quote sounds about right, but the cost of the clutch is way too high IMO.

Thats a rip off. I am having a spec stage 2 clutch installed for $300 plus $300 for the clutch.
