how bad is traction going to be?

Depends on your tires and suspension. I launch at 5000 with a NX 150 shot with a best 60' of 1.55. I was using the same DOT tires I drove an hour to the track with

how did u get a 12.7 stock 1/4 time ?

he didin't. he ran a 12.7 with a stock longblock. ie, stock heads cams. with bolt ons, suspension tires for mods.

The longblock is all stock.......you know, stock cams , heads, pistons , rods, cranketc. But very little else on the car is stock

I have stock suspension....what would i need to do to hook best?

I just got my 4.10s put on. I can't launch anymore...if I don't take off at idle I spin.

I bought a nitrous kit and some BFG DRs at the same time. I figure this should be enough to get some decent traction. I already have sub-frame connectors so I might throw some lower control arms and call it a day.

Stock? you'll light it up as if you were powerbraking it.

What do you need to get traction? Cheater slicks (ie: Hoosier, MT's, BFGoodrich, Nitto, the list goes on, something sticky), I would do drag springs cause I'd want to launch it hard, Lower control arms, engine mounts, idk just sorta throwin ideas out there. I would do everything I listed w/ Hoosiers and the Eibach drag spring kit. I dont know about this just because I havent looked into them but I guess since a post or a few posts up someguy mentioned sub-frame connectors, I'd buy them too, assuming they help traction.

I dont like mine at all. On the juice (125) it is a handful through the topside of third with DRs. It would take cheater slicks or a well prepped track to hook. Then you have to be prepared for braking something.

Then you can either work on the suspension or slow the car down with a smaller shot or less rear gear. I made my car hook and upped the shot
