Default Computer Flash question...

So I posted a post like this a few day's ago and didn't get much help.... I got my new cluster in the mail, but I need to flash the computer in order for this cluster to work! I would prefer not to have to take it to the dealership, does anyone know if there is a way for me to flash the computer without taking it to the dealership?? Thanks!

just clearing things up for myself and maybe other people who are kinda confused.

You bought a gauge cluster instead of overlay gauges and when you plugged it in the odometer went to 0000000 miles...... and now your wondering how to get it back to correct mileage.

is this correct?

No... I bought a Cluster out of a 99 Cobra on eBay, guage goes up to 160mph, and it's white faced. The mileage it VERY close to mine, so I am not worried about that, the problem is the PATS information for the anti theft chip in the key is stored in the cluster, so when the new cluster is installed the key will not start the car as the cluster will read it as the wrong key.

This is why I need to Flash the computer... Anyone with info?

Im a technician at a Ford dealership, and I'm pretty sure the only way you can get it to work is if you bring it in so we can reflash it using IDS.
