Default Engine skweaking?

At idol my GT has a pretty loung skeak/scratch coming from what I assume to be one of the pullies or belts on the engine. Its been really cold here lately so I dont know if that has anything to do with it. Anyway is there a simple way to stop the noise? I can try and pinpoint the sound if that would help. -Thanks

Squeaks coming from the engine are normally idler pullies about to fail. The bearings finally run out of lube and they start squeaking.Remove and replace.

I've got a weird squeak too, but I haven't had a chance to get out and look for it. It actually sounds like it's coming from the back of the engine, and the bottom, but I could have been dreaming that. Anyway, squeaks are rarely too serious, so I'm not worried about blowing up or anything.

When you spray the WD-40 on the belt while the car is running make sure you don't watch where you spray!????Why, cuz you'll get in your eye and it'll sting like a ******!
