Actually I'm not sure wheather is the fuel pump or what. I though it is from exhaust. Do you have any idea? The sound is like "a drop of water vapor on a hot surface" the sound like " P..Shhhhh...Pshhhh"</P>

Like leaking water and it drop on the hot surface.</P>

One thing... Since it happens when you first crank your motorin the morning, it seems like it couldn't be liquid dropping on a hot surface because the motor would be cool...

This is why and this is how I know. My father is a service director at Brandon Ford in Florida and he has encountered this question numerous times, including from me. The sound you are hearing is the engine taking in cool air. For some reason, cool air makes more sound going into the engine than warm air. The reason for it going away after warming up is because now the engine warms the airtaken in. If its anything like my 03 GT, you get your air from the passenger side front fenderwell, but even though it comes from there, the engine affects the temperature of that air as well, or at least enough to calm the sound of cool air rushing in. Nothing is wrong with your car, its just telling you it can breathe. Hope you trust me on this one even though I am a newbie. Thanks for reading.
