I agree, 99% of the time it will be the Plastic Crossover if you still have it. Amazingly, my 96 GT still has the original plastic crossover, im simply waiting for it to break anyway now to warrant doing a PI swap .

OK after getting raped at jewel for 2 gal of the cheapest coolant for 25.00 which at the time i was just about mad about paying that much for coolant and it was 50/50 well anyway i poured it in started it drove it for like 20 mins nothing leaked out.But i still need more coolant beacse the gauge was goin up for the temp and i had no heat so i still have to buy more but i dont think i have a crack so i will have to wait till tommorrow its -3 in IL right now

Happened to my old 96 GT the same exact way. It was the intake manifold. At the time it happened, it was still under warranty. However, the same thing happened on my 03 GT several months ago, had to replace the manifold.

Wrong. You get a NPI intake with aluminum crossover. And since he has a '96 GT, he's SOL and has to pay for it out of pocket. That recall was only for 7 years on '96 Mustangs.
