98' GT

Getting some BBK 1 5/8 inch Long Tube Headers, should I get em Chrome or pay the extra 100 for the Ceramic Coated. For one, I don't care about looks inside my engine bay, so if I can just throw on some DEI Header Wrap on the Chromes to get the same effect as the Ceramic Coated i'll do it.

Ceramics hold the upper hand in every category. You'll be happy paying the extra 100 dollars for a higher quality part, trust me.

Redline is right. What is $100 exta bucks to get a better quality, longer lasting, & though you don't care about it...better looking modification? Your car will treat you as good as you treat it.

Yeap! And its not like chrome and get big purple heat spots all over them either. I have had my headers on for about 5 months now and they still look brand new, and the heat coming out of the motor is about 1100-1200 degrees. Ceramic is the bomb!
