I'm having trouble finding outwhere I can find a stage II cam.. and also how much am i looking to spend on the cam and then on the installation..

VT has your cams. I don't know what car you have so I can't give you a link.

Every shop I have talked to in the Phoenix Area has quoted around 2500 for the install. They tell me to do it CORRECTLY you are supposed to pull the motor.

No you don't have to pull the engine,although the front cover should come off just so you can precisely degree the cams.
Another expense you might want to consider would be the cost of a programmer and tune.Comp Cams even suggest a tune (programmer) with 262's now.
Handheld programmer $400
Dyno time.around $100 hr.
Some dyno operators use a specific tuner so check with your friendly neighborhood dyno man before you buy a tuner.
