Default 500rwhp and targa top?

Hey guys I want to do the targa top on my mustang but I'm up in the air if its a good idea or not. I'm looking to have around 500-550 rwhp. I'm not sure if its going to be too much power for not having a roof. I'm open to any opinions

? Dude, verts can still run over that hp. Look at Corvettes (C6), they come with targa tops and those are capable of over 500. It's not like your car is going to lift off the road or anything. =P

but just incase it does rember to buy a 3 ft tall wing. haha jk....please dont.

IMO a targa top isnt worth it.

What does it matter if you have a coupe, 'vert, or targa top with that much horsepower? Its not like they instantly fly off upon cranking up.

Where are you planning on buying the Targa setup? JMS?

and Full lenth sub frame connectors will help keep a vert/targa straight.

They are the only ones that have a kit for the mustangs that I know of. Or atleast a quality se-up. HOWEVER, they are no longer in business, so if you do get a leftover from some small timer, just remember when someone smashes that top or you get into a minor accident, it CANNOT be replaced!!! That's why I have changed my direction! They closed doors as of the new year

thats why i was asking...they supposedly scammed alot of people and took deposits on these kits and never actually developed it and are now closed and claiming bankruptcy.
there is a thread about them on stangnet in the northeast regional section.
