Default SLP vs Magnaflow

I was just about to buy an SLP Catted X-pipe and it got sold today [:@][:@][:@][:@]

Now I'm just going to buy one brand new, either an SLP or a Magnaflow X-pipe, both catted, both tru-X design, both very good quality

Which would be better with SLP LM1 catback for both performance/sound, or will they be virtually the same besides the slight price difference?

i would say just go with the slp mid-pipe, since you already have thier cat-back. so your state has emissions?

I like Magnaflow catbacks, but since you already have the slp catback I also agree to get the slp x pipe. Man, that's going to be a loud set-up.

i have slp lm1's and x. I love the sound but the downside to the slp x is the cats are circular shaped and hand down a lot and i scrap on some speed bumps with stock suspension, knowing that id say get the other one

yeah I'm getting cats not because of emissions but because of sound...it's a daily driver so I don't want it to be way too obnoxious, just a little bit
I just realized how expensive the Magnaflow is...what other types of tru-X pipes are there? Bassanni, Dr. gas, any others?

i've heard the SLP X hangs really low. i do have a magnaflow X, but i have loudmouth 2 (and had 1s), so i'm not biased towards one or another.

my x pipe may be for sale after i get LTs though

The Bassani bx series sounds awesome and is quite reasonable in price compared to other catted x pipes. 299-359

there you go. that one comes with cats and the offroad legs so u can run it with out cats, and then just swap in the cats for inspection. i have the O/R bassani one, and its a good quality piece.

SLP does hang low thats why I'm not gonna get one because I do intend on lower my car in the future. Bassani has stainless pipes and alumized. Any model number with "bx" in it is aluminized. Dr. Gas is basically just like UPR. Just 2 pipes going in towards each other and right back out. I'd go with Bassani or Magnaflow because from some of the things I have heard Bassani gives you a reasonably deep tone until you get on it, it will scream like a virgin
