Default Dumb question from Newb

I'm going to get a cai that has 3 and a half inch tubing, should i replace the maf and if I should what size?(only putting on bolt ons) And do i need to worry about anything else if i change the maf?

I dont think you have to change it but not sure. What other bolt ons you gonna get?

u/d pulleys, 373 gears, exhaust catted x-pipe and shorty equalheaders(i think lt's are illegal in pa but im not sure otherwise im gettin lt's), short throw, 75mm tb and plenum, to be put on in mid summer. Friend has a couple of em for me so ima get some of them cheap. Just need to know if its worth it to replace the maf and sensor a

I think if you change the t/b and plenum you should change the maf. I have a 90mm sct but i hear the lightnings are good and cheaper. You will like the gears man they make a big diff. I still have stock headers on my car. But alot of guys in here will tell you long tubes or nothin. There are a couple guys in here from Pa. They will know about the legal thing.

You don't need to change your MAF.

you really only need to change you MAF when going F/I, no need just for cai or even tb/plenum
