UMM DUMB QUESTION?

Default UMM DUMB QUESTION?
Does my 04 GT really hold 6 quarts of motor oil? I was looking in my owners manual and it said 6 quarts but I just wanted 2 make sure cuz that seems like a lot for the size of oil pan on it and I defintly don't want to over fill it, I'm used to the fox bodys since thats what body style I have mostly had and those took 5 quarts and the pans don't really look that much different in size Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Our mod motors require a little more oil to lube then the older 5.0s

normally it takes about 5 1/2 quarts to fill my car...
