more boost??

Default more boost??

what would i have to do to atleast run 15 lb of boost on a 2003 mustang gt?i know i would have to chang the block cause a stock block will not hold over 9 lb of booost what would be the cheapest way to atleast run 500-600 hp??what type of block should i use 302 or 351??and how much do u think this will all cost?

VT shortblock $3500 and up.....my friend that i bought my blower from put on a 15psi pulley on the dyno for the hell of it and took the risk and made over 500 to the wheels with only an x pipe ,catback and 75mm tb in addition to the blower.....

You wont have to change the block itself, just the shortblock. Rotating assembly. Forged Pistons, rods, crank, etc........ Kits can be had for less than 2k. After that, it will take 15psi all day.

Your block is fine. You just need a fully forged bottom end.

The 302 and 351 engine assemblys are completely diffrent in design and setup than your 4.6L. what you need is either a complete shortblock or just the rotating assembly for a 4.6L 2v from a company like VT etc

Assuming you already have a blower kit with the stock shortblock, you are gonna need more than a shortblock to hit the power levels you want. you will also need to upgrade the fuel system and injectors, and replace the stock MAF if your still running it. Its not exactly cheap to go from a stock shortblock car to a 550+ WHP built motor car.

Umm, lets forget about the stroker+boost. Not really a great idea. try built motor+supercharger. And HELL NO you arent done. Fuel system, clutch, tranny, rearend, tires, etc............ You dont even know. I'm only at 320rwhp now, and I am having trouble with all of those listed things. when I FINALLY get to spray it, its gonna cost me at least 4-5k to get everything else in order. Theres already more in this car than its worth. 400's not that hard. 500 is a whole different story.

so for right now what would be the cheapest way to get alot of power besides a supercharger im on a budget of about 2500 for right now.....

2500 would get you L/T headers, gears, and a badass Nitrous kit. Thats 400rwhp easy.
