HELP!!!!!! My Mustang is Missing

My 99 Mustang GT is missing. It has done this for the past couple of weeks. It began missing all the time, but once i changed my spark plugs it stopped. Then a couple of days later it started again. It only misses till about 2500 , then it runs fine. I do not know that much about mustangs or motors in general. I have been told it could be a vacuum leak, a mass air flow sensor, a blown head gasket, an idle control valve, etc. I have little money to take it to the shop and get a diagnostic ran on it. I would appreciate all the help i can get!!!!!!!!!!

i had somthing like that, but it progressivly gotworse, actually ended up being a dead injector, weird tho i would have sworn it was missing at first

Yes,,they can arc through(little white spot)(or evidence of water intrusion)(rust color)to the engine....with a scan tool(which would be the easiest),,you can go through Global obd II and a certain test and actually see a misfire history....and see what cylinder you are dealing with....Or you can wait til the check engine light comes on and sets the misfire cylinder code,,,example po305 cylinder 5....

i had the exact problem twice both times coil pack... i changed plugs to and same prob.... i am pretty sure that's it ..... one of mine tripped the CEL the last one didn't
