Who has a winter beater?
 

Who is so glad that they have a winter beater. I have my old car which is now my brothers. He can not drive yet so I love that I can drive it in the winter. If you have one post it up explain what it is or just post pics.

My is a 1988 Beretta list car is just about as old as I am :D

1997 Dodge Caravan with 236k and still goin strong,,and a 02 cavalier...with 50k on th clock,,....No way I'd temp to hurt the stang buy driven in bad weather....I'd ride on of my motorcycles first...bundled up of course...LOL:D

I've got a sweet pair of Nike's. I'm away at college and wouldn't want to leave my baby parked outside here anyway, so she stays home in the garage and I walk. I dont have to worry about people borrowing it, breaking it, vandalizing it, etc. Being on a college campus is great for not having a car!

Of course this is going to be posted in the winter. I just went out in Ohio and saw a couple of mustangs and just kepp thinking that sucks because mine was all warm in the gaurage at home lol. my beretta has more things rattling in it than the miles on it. 150k which is not that bad for a 88 but the car is beat to s**t inside and out but I got to love it. saves me in the winter :D:D

i just bought winter tires, and put 200lbs in the back.

1987 Fullsize k5 blazer, 350, turbo 350 tranny, 6 inch suspension lift, headers, straight pipes no cats or mufflers, 35x14.50 TSL super swamper thornbirds on 15inch amercan racing wheels, 4.88 rear end with lockers. Gas guage is broken but i estimate 8MPG

my winter beater is a 1986 ford mustang gt 5.0 with 373 rears a kc clutch, and cold air, with bbk shorties and a flow 40s. not bad huh:(

2002 saturn sc1, its my winter beater/daily driver now. it saves me on gas 35mpg>18mpg. Its got a new set of BFGs on it and it goes well.

Yeah I have a 2000 GT and a '94 Lightning so there is no getting around in the winter. If I came home with another car my dad would kill me and I'm not selling either one to get a beater so I just have to deal with it.

R.I.P. '89 Chevy S-10 Baja 4x4... many snow and off-road memories.

1989 Chevy Celebrity. It's a big piece of junk, but practically indestructable. I've ran that thing into 2 deer and a concrete wall and it still looks as ugly but with just a few new scratches. No dents, nothing else, it's amazing.

Those are some pretty nice beaters if I say so my self: Implal, dodge ram. s**t that is like an everyday car not a beater those are too nice. how do you afford both?

I don't see how anyone that really cares about their car doesn't have another for a DD. With all the wear and tear, door dings in parking lots, etc etc, how can you afford NOT to have a 1500 dollar beater that gets 30+ MPG?

1993 GMC 1500 Z71 4x4. 3" body lift, 35"tires. Don't really call it a winter beater since Alabama doesn't have much of a winter, more or less just a daily driver other than my work car (2006 p71 crown vic).

i want the dual exhuast too. but i cant afford it yet from all my extra money going into the motor swap as of now... probably in the summer i can do it

My winter beater is/was my 91 GSX... But I turned up the boost to much one day and blew my head gasket into a water jaket and boosted my radiator to radiator heaven!!! And, its toooo cold to fix it so im driving my GF's s10. Life sucks right now but at least my mustangs at the painters right now... (forward progress!)

yea, me too! its not much of a winter beater since its a nice truck and only 2 wheel drive but we dont get snow so its all good. lol.

quicktime, yes the rear of the truck is lowered about 2 inches with shackles and clamps.
