I have them.... just for everyday driving their hard to beat for $100 a piece! They aren't as loud as people say.. and they actually seem to hook decent when its not freezing cold outside...
I figure I'd go with those as the 285/40/17 KDWS Goodrich's will looked stretched,no?

I have Sumitomos and for a $100 tire, they don't pop easily and they last a while. That's about the only benefit they have.

They suck miserably for traction, they made a TON of road noise and they are not bump friendly.

I had them and the thing i liked about them was the price. Besides that I didnt think they hooked all that great. But you pay for what you get. But i do think they are worth the price

KDW'a are 100times better than junk sumitomos. The sumi's have a 120 wear rating if I'm not mistaken. Most tires have atleast a 320 wear rating. You'll be getting new tires before summers over with. Also 315's...eeeee You might have some exhaust scrubbing problems, especially if it's aftermarket! If you have 10 or 10.5 inch wheels in back a 295 or 305 will fit and look very nice! You should beable to get KDW's at 295! You'll hate the sumi's don't get them. I know mustang Tuning pushes them through the door hard core, but you can get them cheaper through tire rack and have them mounted yourself. Also I got my tires mounted my self, because if you have any vibrations with the balancing you can bring them back to the place that did them and have them done again, vs mail order like that and your screwed! TIRE RACK. Cheapest tires I have found! I have 275/35/18 on a 10 inch wide rim and it looks good, a little wider would be nice but it does not V in any way, so 295 atleast on a 10.5!

I just got some 245 sumis put on while i wait to get my 10.5" wide rim, with 315/35/17 bfgs.

So far the Sumi's dont seem too bad. I like em. They hook pretty well especially when floored in 2nd doesn't break loose like with the bald tires...

This is the truth, I don't know how anybody can really try to get traction with these.. If they are only for Daily Driving, I'll get them again, but when i try to get some traction, i sit and spin with my npi slug..
