Default Help me Help me!!!!!

ok, my blower will be on in a few weeks...i need a new tranny and have about 1200 bucks so far. i really only have 2000 for the tranny. so whats good. OOOH YEA i want a 6 speed. call me bias but thats what i want. im lookin at a T-56 but am unsure of the capabilities of the T-56. does an aftermarket company make a good 6 speed that can handle atleast 500+. help me out guys.

why don't you just send in your current transmission to a shop to be made to hold that much power if thats gonna be the problem, it's pretty cheap.

From what I hear tranny rebuilds are hard to trust, its either gonna be fine for 100,000 miles or take a crap in 100.But you also have the TKO which if you upgrade syncrhos(sp) and such could be good... The viper t-56 is a 6 speed too...

i dont have a TKO...i have the 3650...how much is a viper 6 speed.

*sorry I meant to say tremec 3650...I dont why but always think its a tko.....viper t-56 go for around 3k. But if you looked around probably could find some for lower.

so what is the best tranny for 550rwhp (most likely) thats not too expensive and is a 6 speed. My goal is 600+ but well see how that goes. is the T-56 out of a cobra capable of this or do i need a better tranny

Only person i can think of who has bought an aftermarket tranny is 2000gt4.6, He can help you out with the price range, i personally am not for sure about the price range.

Idk...I wouldnt go cheap with transmissions especially if you want a 6spd. Heres a link for some...
