Alright so my question is how much HP difference will you see.
O/R H pipe with flowmaster mufflers and the stock pipeing from the muffler back
vs.
O/R h pipe with flowmaster cat back with three inch pipeing.

 

mustangs come stock with flowmaster mufflers...they have a contract with ford. so if you did the catback and o/f H you would porb feel a little bit more with flowmaster catback. prob a difference of 10hp. Better off doing a X-pipe though, delivers more power and has a better tone to it.

 

to my knowledge, i dont believe mustangs come stock with flowmasters... when i took my stock cat back off, it said "ford" on it.

well anyway, on a 2 valve, exhaust makes such little difference go with what stound you like best. the difference between x pipe and h pipe is seriously like 1 horsepower.

as for the 3 inch piping question, i would go with the full catback with whatever diameter it comes with.

X's soundlike a Harleywith chambered mufflers. Almost everyone who's heard the difference will say X with straight through mufflers andH with chambered mufflers.
