Default LMAF question

Im getting ready to install my blower and had some questions about the lightning mass air filter. Do I need an adapter to put it on my car or will it bolt in fine without it. Also, its not programed for a certain injector size is it?

as far as the maf i dont think you need a adaptor. my advise on the injectors would be to look on the website but i dont think the kit is programmed to a certain injector.

i think you can get by without a tuner until you get to the dyno. since your car wont be tuned to the s/c i would advise not to get into boost until you get it dynod. if you have a long way to go to get it tuned you might want to look into purchasing one to be on the safe side.

your gonna need a tuner to get the car tuned anyways unless you buy a flip chip. Also a maf is tuned by the person dyno tuning your car to meet what ever injector size you are running which im guessing is either #39 or 42, there are also a bunch of different varieties out there be it SCT or a lightning, although the lightning has its shortcomings becuase it will run out of flow pretty quickly as your hp climbs

im running 42#'s and dont plan on having HUGE hp numbers, just around 400 tops. From what ive heard the lmaf is the best bang for the buck.
