After cruising for a bit today i definately want to change up my exhaust. I was wondering what will sound best with a BBK offroad X pipe. Im wanting something louder and deeper with more emphasis on the deepness! I know there is a million soundclips but i want to know what you guys think! If you have any other ideas let me know! I hear the straight through style mufflers tend to sound better with the X so thats what i guess im going with.

LM2's for the win, I am partial to Loudmouth on mustangs... but the LM2's sound incredible with any type of setup. You can't go wrong with a set of those.

i more favor the borlas...they give you that deep muscle sound. ever since i first heard them on a mustang ive been saving for them. cap em off with a slp catted or o/r...depending on where you live... and some slp lts and your set.

Hmm taking price into consideration...Borlas are THAT much better than slp in your guys opinions? And the LM2s arent a bunch quieter than 1s are they?

I have magnapaks with the magnaflow offroad x-pipe and it sounds great, but I voted for borla because if I had the money thats what I would have gotten.

what it really boils down to is personal preference. you could ask 100guys on here what they like and you might get 100 different answers because there are so many factors into choosing one...headers, mid pipe, catback. you put those together with all the different brands and the possibilities are endless. my hones opinion would be to listen to different clips of different set ups. i know that clips dont do them justice but really that your only reference.
