Default Summer Tires

Now that winter is coming to an end I am looking for tires to replace my stockers. Still going to be sticking with stock size of 245/45R17. I want the tires to be good on dry asphalt but also in the rain. Also do not want to spend a whole lot of money on them either, any suggestions?

well in all honesty, there's no such thing as a good, cheap tire. However, if i had to recommend any brand, I'd say Kumho. I'd stay away from Nittos if your car is a DD. The tire life on Nittos is terrible b/c it is such a soft compounded tire, you'll be lucky to get 15,000 miles out of them if you drive like a grandma.

I LOVE MY BFG KDW2's...I have been through tires and they are the best for dry/rain...they actually grip pretty good at the strip and shine on the road cours.....as long as you put the right PSI in them.

i dont agree with the 15,000 mile tread life for nitto 555's... i have had mine on for 25,000 miles and they got tread left.. and i drive my baby hard...
