These younger guys sure need to become more responsible with their cars, their lives, and other people's lives. Another thing is why do they dog out their cars so hard when their basically all stock? Do they think these stock cars were really designed to hit 150 mph, redline quite frequently, and what's up with all the street racing?

the only reason why most young kids rip n tear on their cars is just that, they are young and like f*cking around, but i can honestly say i've had my license for almost 6months and haven't once street raced. my point is, your shouldn't have to learn your mistake by blowing your bottom end and having to pay like $4000+. i learned my big lesson of driving when i almostslid off the road taking off from a burnout and haven't done anything that stupid since.

Are you talking to me? A forged shortblock is a logical solution for any aged person. If you break something, why in the world would you replace it with the same thing? Call me crazy, but if I break something I ALWAYS replace it with stronger parts. jerkoff

And just by driving the car hard (as long as your are boucing off the rev limiter for minutes) and just breaking is not his fault. YOU CANT OVER REV A CAR WITH A REV LIMITER!!!! I drive my car VERY hard, forged internals or not. My old gt had stock shortblock, and I raced it nearly every weekend(at the strip). It could have busted at anytime. That would have been the fault of the broken part, not mine. You gotta pay to play boys, and if your **** breaks suck it up and replace it with better parts.

Redline? WTF is that? I shift my car at the point where it will go the fastest. Redline or not.

i agree with ZW99GT. i run my car hard too at the track. if something breaks, u tow it home and order new STRONGER parts to replace it. and as for the 16 year old, give him a break. streetracing? you guys act as if it's the worst thing in the world to do. i'm 21, had my license for 4 years now, and i just started street racing when i got my mustang, and it was BONE STOCK. it's not always about winning, getting a better e.t., it's just the thrill and adrenaline rush u get from RACING, wherever u do it at. people mess up, and they HOPEFULLY learn from their mistakes.
