Do the wheels first... It'll be easier to scrap together some change to pick up some springs later on..

You wanna do wheels first.. always. Your preference/ ideas for the amount lowered might change with the new wheels/style of wheels. You don't wanna risk spending money on a drop, then thinking you didn't go low enough (or to low) whenever you get the new wheels.

I'm in the same boat and I decided to go with performance over appearance. I guess that's why I have a blown stang that still looks stock. I'm not going to 'scrape' a suspension together. If you do it right it should handle great and look good to. I'm only a few more weeks away for the suspension and since my tires still have tread, they'll have to wait til summer. After I priced my suspension out it was just under 2k so unless you're doing just springs (not the right way to do suspension) save your money until you will do it right. The wheels are what you should 'scrape' together later. Great suspension, budget wheels, great tires.

How come all of the wheel people aren't voting up top?

Alright, I'm convinced. I'm going with wheels first, then the Ford "C" springs w/ some nice shocks. Thanks for all the input everyone.

What kinda shocks would REALLY help the ride quality a lot and what brand, where would you buy? to go along with the "C" springs.

Well see, all that sounds great except I'm in college and I'm doin damn good to be able to afford wheels on my piddly $7.25/hr job. So going with just springs and shocks is going to be good enough for me until I graduate sometime next year. Besides, I dont go to the track more than 1 or 2 times a year, and I dont do road courses, so its basically just for looks.
