Ok gang, dont hammer me on this one but Ive been reading TONS of x pipe this and H pipe that -
that I dont know what to do at this point. Let me ask, I love the sound of my 02 GT as it is.. but if I wanted "just a tad" louder then stock, could I achieve that by just replacing the mufflers? Maybe to a Flow 40 or Pype Violater or ??.... Im not looking for more HP as I drive like an old you know what, but I love the sound so much Id like to just turn it up a hair... Im also leary as Im hoping to not get myself into these "drone" type situations when Im on the highway for a Sunday drive... this car is also a daily driver so I dont want crazy LOUD all the time..... thoughts? leave it alone?

yeah, you could do that. I would say magnaflow mufflers, they have minimal drone, and are not loud, but louder and more aggresvie than stock. flowmasters will drone, and will be fairly loud.

 

just weld in some LM1's...

Not really,+1onmagnaflow being a good choice for you.

 

force pro series mufflers from jegs,pretty much flowmasters but have a BETTER build qualitybut there only $35

 

before I went catback my 02 GT had Flow 40s welded in and it had a nice deep rumble without getting raspy or obnoxious @ WOT

An H-pipe but they were Flowmaster 40s not magnaflows

put in. Freakkkin Sweeeet! I'm in heaven.
