Default Traction Control

I just bought this 04 Gt Vert. Stang, the traction control button is not present in the car, just the little dud cover. Do all gt's have traction control? or is it optional? if i put the trac. control push button in will it work?

It`s an option. Really, be happy that you don`t have it. It sucks.

what does the T/C do for you honestly? from what I've seen so far, all it does is cut back engine power when wheel spin is detected. Right? I'm 50/50 right now on whether I like it or not. My 6000# F-150 needs a good shot of gas to get going. I gave my car an equal amount of throttle with the T/C off and I just sat there roasting the tires. I had to do it again just to make sure.

Yes, they are a package deal. The reason why some don't have t/c is because it would have costed Ford money to put it in because the car would have had to have abs also. So, they save a few cents by not putting them in.

ABS and TC use each other, can't have one without the other

Absolutely my 2004 T/Chad to be removed by a handheld and then by K/B no button
