Default Cherry Bomb Exhaust?

So I was watching the Power Block thing on Spike and I keep seeing commercials for the Cherry Bomb Exhaust, saying how it's the best and so on. Has anyone heard of them, or have them?

Haha, I just saw that comerical. Cherry Bombs were really cool about 15 years ago, when I had my old Impala. They had a nice raspy sound and used a straight through design. I wouldn't put them on my Stang though.

They are extremely cheap too, which is good for a 16 year old .

I saw the same thing and was wondering the same thing. Wouldn't buy them without hearing clips though.

LOL they have been around for years and they are nothing but a large paper weight! They buzz like hell, sound like crap, have problems with cloging up causing your engine to over heat, also a BIG problem with catching on fire! Think im full of b.s.? I had one on my truck when i was 16 and had to take it off because it was clogging up and glowing red..(no it wasnt mud from offroading i never did that). Also a friend of mine put one on his 89 camaro and wouldnt you know it 2 mounths later his busted into flames...no more camaro. All in all i am suprised they still make them.

hah yeah my brother had one on his 89 Escort GT. Worst mod ever. Sounded like ****, performed like ****. They're what me and my buddies joke about now. Like when a crappy civic rolls by someone usually says "..must have a cherry bomb on it.." Theres a reason they're so cheap...

On modern muscle cars, there is NO way they could sound good at all. There are soo many better options out there that have tone, and a good exhuast note.

I listened to Cherry Bomb knock offs on one of the '71 Mach's we looked at before getting out '72, I thought it sounded good, but at the same time, it didn't. It was a terribly unrefined sound that was neat on an old car, but now that I have seen what is out there, wouldn't consider them for our '72 Mach.

I think if you want your Stang to sound like 90% of the TRUCKS on the road, go for it. If you like it when people hear your car and turn to see what it is, don't get them. We all know when something takes off and it's loud and nasty, it's almost always a truck.

This only happens when you have no cats and your car backfires!!!
