Default OMG! Sweet!!!

so i get home from work...and sitting at the bottom of the stairs to my apt are 2 hankook ventus sport k104 255/45/18 tires! they definitely look used but look to be in totally fine condition. i am buying 18" wheels soon, already have my 18" BFG D/Rs for the back...but was debating what tires to buy for the front. now i have my problem solved! two totally fine tires for free...i checked...retail for about $190 each. im SO...happy! lol

ps...255/45/18s will fit alright on an 18 x 9 rite? i was gonna go 265/35/18s....but these were FREE lol

It'll be a stretch, but it should be ok. I have 265's on my fronts and they are good, could be a little wider, but ok. Just put them on and see how it looks, like you said, they were free.

They will have a thinner sidewall than normal. They will probably ride really harsh too. A 9 inch wheel should have atleast a 275 minimum IMO.

I could just not justify going with a 18 inch wheel. The wheels arn't that much more money, but the dammed tires!!

ok there are stairs to my apartment complex on two sides, 2 apartments for each set of stairs. at the bottom of each set of stairs are 3 huge trash bins and an area for other trash. these two tires were sitting in the trash area. as far as im concerned i did not steal them. my friend had seen them earlier that nite...like 2 hours before. if some1 was just making multiple trips...it wouldnt have taken 2 hours. so i honestly dont think anybody's missing them.

lizzy...thanks for that info...i was hesitant about the tires on the rims but you have instilled my faith once again lol.

2000GT...yea it sucks...but they look so good! i know youre all about performance, but i want to get at both aspects (cosmetics and performance) of the car. for being a DD, the car is fast enough for the time being and i wanna make it look like it too now. i had decided to bite the bullet on rims and tires...and i guess its working out cuz i saved like $350 on tires because of it

coming soon...18" Saleens or Bullitts, stay tuned!
