ok ive been poked enough by this jackass, with my setup should i take an lightly modded LT1 with 4.10s, anyone with experiance? ive raced a handfull of LT1s but none geared

depends on what you mean by "lightly" modded. Also, it depends on what the LT1 is bolted in to.

If it has intake, exhaustand gears you will be neck and neck with it. i raced one backwhen i had the bolt ons like you do and i only beat him by a fender. Make sure he doesn't have a cam because a cammed and geared LT1 can holdoff a light modded GT. Good luck if you lose, bottle feed!!

cammed and stalled LT1 will eat you alive.

I agree with them, it depends on how lightly modded he is. You can win or lose... might as well find out.

I think you'd get him. But it depends on his mods. "Lightly modded" can mean different things to different people.

One of my buddy's has an LT1 with full exhaust and an intake manifold/tb and he is running 13.6.That gives you an idea of what he may be running. Only way to find out is to race him and see.
