Default 2v vs 4v

I've always wondered. Since the GT's are 2v and the Machs and Terminators are 4v, are the exhaust set ups on the 4v usually louder than those of the 2v? Or are they pretty much around the same sound level?

To me the 2valves and 4valves sound the same on Mustangs. Only difference is when you start cam swaps.

4 valves tend to have a throatier sound IMO. The 2v's have a much more 'raw' sound to them. I've never noticed a difference in volume though.

i think the 2v has a more throaty sound. like it's gasping for more air and has a deeper choking sound. 4v has a more fluent sound. i dunno, that's just how it is to me.

Dare we ask which one sounds better at idel and wot?

Based on what I've read here, the 2V would have a meaner idle, and the 4V's scream under acceleration?

my neighbor has a terminator with same exact exhaust set up as me and mine is louder. and I mean noticebly louder. He says that he thinks my car sounds better but they sound very close in tone. Id say his is a bit more cleaner and more agressive at WOT but mine is alot more muscle car like and meaner when driving normal. I also think mine has a more aggressive rev though.

A guy I cruise with has a Terminator with Magnaflows, same exhaust as mine, but his is a lot louder. I think the power output has a great deal to do with it. He is whipple-charged with abot 600rwhp.
