Hi, my 2004 GT has what appears to be surface rust on the stock tail pipes. I thought these were stainless. Anyway, what is a good method for removing the rust? Steel wool? I've also seen crumpled aluminum foil remove rust. Ideas?

the stuff on the tips just use some of that metal wheel cleaner stuff it comes in a little tin and its wooly I can't remember what it is called right now but I will find out that is what I used.

Thanks for the replies. I just got home fomwork and checked the thread. FYI, the rust is on the exhaust pipes, not the tips. I will try some of the Eagle One. I love this place and I love my Stanger!
