Default udp's worth it?

I plan for a s/c down the line, but i relize that it could be a really long time before then, and i know you need the stock pully's for a s/c, so my question would be getting some Steeda udp's be worth the money for a few extra ponies?

I thought about gettin them a year ago, but then i decided to not because thats $200 bucks that could go into the supercharger fund. I plain on supercharging my car this fall so its really up to you. I decided to hold off on the small stuff and save for the part that gains the most power the BLOWER

if you don't plan on doing it for like a year, go for it. you can make $150 up fairly quickly. it's a good 8RWHP.

i guess i'll just have to keep saving then, and stop getting speeding tickets (not even in the stang, in impala) or just rob a bank...

I got my Steeda UDP for like 80 bucks on ebay - complete set. If you can get em like that - then do it all day. People say 200 bucks isn't worth 8rwhp, but they are the same ones that say to get a TB/Plenum for 400 combined, and that gives you 5-7rwhp.

UDPs are 1/2 the price of gears... Gears are a great mod, and should be the first things on your car, but if you can pick up UDP for 80 bucks like I did - then it's a great buy. Then just save your stock ones, so when your ready for your blower, sell em for 80 bucks and get your money back!
