Do it right and get an aluminum crossover! I would stay away from that Typhoon garbage. More like a Typhoon of your wallet..lol P-51 all the way! If you check out Foxlakeracing.com they sell those for $699 without gaskets and fuel rails. He wants another $319 for that stuff. WWWAAAAYYY better than typhoon. NO loss in torque in the lower RPM range unlike Typhoon if you read their site they say "usable torque in lower rpms"..lol yeah because the curve drops off the charts!!! FP-51 makes a solid 17hp on a stock 99+ GT all through the power band. Typhoon only make 13hp between 5500-6500 which you never get that high in your stock car to begin with.lol They claim 21hp..yeah with a fully modified car! P-51 will creat up to 25hp fully modified!!! Stay away from Typhoon

Well if you get the P51, you are going to have to get new fuel rails somewhere because the stock wont work. That adds to the price.

I have the Typhoon intake and have no complaints. Installed without a problem and although I didn't notice any gains, I didn't notice any losses either. My stock intake cracked too, and the Typhoon was the only reasonably priced aluminum intake available. The P-51 will end up costing you over $1,000. Look around, some other compaines are going to be coming out with an intake for the 2V pretty soon, but don't be afraid of the Typhoon if you decide on that, it isn't bad. Just about everyone who bashes it is going off of what they heard, I have one and have no problems.

of course i noticed some gains from the typhoon because i went from npi to pi intake, but the typhoon being an "upgrade" in itself, and with the tb and plenum, all done together, i was kinda disappointed. as far as problems, i havent had the first one........

Why won't the stock fuel rail work?

You are a retard. Next time you complain about a product make sure you know what the **** you are talking about. On my friends car(Bolt-on) the typhoon made more hp from 2000 until 5600 and 22 lbs more of tq at 2200 rpm.The P-51 is completely impractical for a bolt-on street car and much more expensive considering you need the fuel rails and gaskets to use it. So basically everything you said is wrong and unless you have used a product or have seen it in real life dyno than you should keep your mouth shut and not give people false information.
