Default two questions

After 200 miles of having my o/r pipe onmy CELlight came on. Will I get worse gas milage now? Someone said that now the the CEL light is on the car will dump more fuel in there so it doesn't run lean, thus reduced mpg. True? Wouldn't more fuel mean more heat?
Now, when I was in the staging lane I coasted to a stop from like 15mph. I took it out of D and accidentally threw it into park instead of neutral. So, I was going about 10mph in park. Well, when I was rolling in park my transmission was saying "I f|_|cking hate you, it made a really crappy clicking sound. I put it into neutral as quickly as possible...like 3 seconds of rolling in park. Is my transmission going to die?!
I probably wouldn't have gone to P or even R, but you have to press the dam button to get it from D to N..mustangs are the only car that I know of where you have to press the button, every other auto car you can just push it up...if I would have been able to just push it up then i wouldnt have been able to even hit R...stupid Ford for designing it that way...stupid me for actually doing that, lol. but, yeah?

You probably didn't hurt your trans. I did this once in my buddies old buick going 60+ MPH

Everything I have seen about the "limp" mode says its bull, but it may have some sort of effect on your tune. If it is the case that your going rich (more fuel) you will not see increased engine temps. Acutally, more fuel = cooler running temperature. vaporised fuel acutally cools the cylinder before it is lit. This is why a car running lean will acutally run alot hotter than one running rich.

Just unplug your battery cable for about a minute and replug it in. The code will be cleared and the CEL will be off.

Mil eliminators are fairly cheap. been awhile since I have bought em, but I was thinking like 30 bucks or something for a set? You could also get yourself a handheld (being an auto car I really recommend it, will really firm up your shifts) and turn the rear 02 sensors off, as all they do is emmissions testing.

If you plan on getting a tuner - you could always have the SCT or Diablo tune, turn off your 02's and just plug your sensors back in like I did... Depends if you want to spend the money... just the biggest pain, I hear is that the MIL's tend to break on you fairly easily. Although, my stepbrother has his on for... 3 years? and he has no issues with his original ones.

The Xcal2 will let you shut the rear 02 sensors off. All they do is check to make sure you have a set of cats on there, they don't do any sort of engine tuning.

The mils will do it as well, just not do as good of a job. About once every 2 months my car would pop the CEL on even with MILs installed.

One of the capabilities of the XCal is to turn off the rear sensors--only one, it is a "full" handheld tuner--or as full as they get.You are getting the MIL because the rear O2 sensors are sending the PCM the same signal as the front sensors, the ECU sees this, thinks the cats are bad, and fires up the MIL. You can buy a tuner ($300 to $450), any of them will turn off the rear sensors, or spend $4.17 plus tax at Radio Shack and make your own MIL eliminators (the little secret people that sell MIL eliminators don't want you to know)...The MIL created by the O/R pipe will not affect fuel economy or power (nor for that matter does the O/R pipe as compared to a catted pipe with hi-flow cats)...

If you're electrically inclined you can make your own elims from parts at radio shack.

+1. on the tuner. It's capabilities will be very useful for future modding and just fine tuning your stang.
