Default Prochamber will rust?

Alright guys....I was just about sold with buying a prochamber to compliment my Borla catback...But, One of my buddies just told me that if I don't pay a few hundred more for the stainless steal system, it will rust within no time. What do ya guys think?

Same with any exhaust that isn't SS. That's why you get SS if you want it to last.

And "within no time" is a bit of an exageration. Depending on where you live and what weather you drive it in, it could be a couple of years or it could be 5-10 years. If you drive it only when it's dry, then obviously you'll be ok for quite a while. If you drive it in the rain a lot, then it's going to rust faster, and if you drive it in the snow and salt sometimes during the winter, then it'll rust even faster.

I wanted to do my exhaust right the first time and never have to replace it, so I went with SS.

If you went with the Borla I would compliment that with either SLP or Bassani.

Then don't worry about it at all.

Why SLP or Bassani?
both reputable companies, exhaust sounds good, and they're stainless

yes mac products will rust but they will still last a good 3-4 years, my catback barely shows any rust but i only drove the car 3k miles last year and never in the winter. i think the prochamber would sound badass with the borla!

If you drive your car in the snow(if you have it) then get Satinlees. If not screw it because your most likely gonna want something else or get rid of the car before it rusts out! Who cares about dsurface rust if you can't see it anyway! I would spray an extra few can of high temp ceramic on it when you get it eve if it has HTS coating to begin with, can't hurt but help!!
