Here's a couple quick notes on tire selection for the track. If you're running on motor, stick with the 26's unless you're over 400 rwhp. If you're running over 400 rwhp, then consider the 28's to help with the initial hit or launch. The Difference in the sidewalls is minimal, but when they refer to S for stiff, it's still a wrinkle wall for better traction, it's just a bit stiffer for the manual transmission cars which hit or shock the tires harder on take off as they dump the clutch. An automatic car, unless it has a monster stall, would generally impact the tires initially with a bit less shock hence using the softer sidewalls.

Yes he was overpowering the 26's, but from our experiencethe 28's will work better on the bottle for his set up. Since he's getting ready for the Baytown Pinks All Out, he's planning on a little bottle action to reinforce the license plates.

Hope this helps. If you still have questions, post em and we'll try to help.
So Mitch IS spraying off the line? or not?
For Pinks All Out, I will be spraying out of the hole.

I know it's next week (pinks) but when does it air? Or is it too early to say!
