Default Special tool?

What is the "special tool" they talk about for head install? It seems to be used for a lot of stuff on the install.

You dont time the heads, you time the cams. I think your talking about the cam positioning tool.

I read a manual someone from here sent me. It says use the special tool... and it says this for like 6 or 7 different things. Some of the uses were to hold the valve springs and to put sprokets back on the crank. It doesn't give the tool a name, it just says "use the special tool".

They may be talking about this... Its used to compress the valve springs while the heads are still on the block... I had to buy and use this when I replaced my valve springs.... http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/OTC-7928.html
But if you take the heads off you can use a different cheaper valve compressor to take them off. Theres also a

Anderson Ford Motorsports sells a tool where you dont have to take the timing cover off to swap cams.... Here... http://www.andersonfordmotorsport.co...log/Page31.jpg Those are the only two tools I can think off... Check the manual im sure theres a part number and google it.
