Default Mod Help

I know u guys get alot of questions about this , but i want to know exactly what yall think about mods for my specific car. I have a 99 gt. Currently i have added; Ford Racing C Springs, Cold Air Intake, Ud Pullies, Ford Racing Shorty Headers, MagnaFlow hi flow cats, Bassani X pipe, and the typical Flowmaster mufflers.WHAT KINDA HORSEPOWER DO U THINK I HAVE? Im running 275/40/17 back tires. I know this sounds really stupid to everyone, but my dad says no supercharger. He pays insurance, so i kinda have to listen to some of his crap. Im looking for the next step. I thoght about intake manifold/cam/flywheel, but i know nothing about it. Also I know that yall hear alot about the gears, but what kinda gears for my car.Im not really worried about top speed, but i am about MPG. As long as it tops out about 130 or higher thats fine with me. What do u think about a clutch kit. Oh AND HOW DO U POST YOUR MODS ON YOUR PROFILE? Thanks a bunch

1) Get rid of the shorty headers ad the SLOWmasters and get some LT headers and a Magnaflows or Dynomax catback!

2) You probably have about 240rwhp give or take 10hp.

3) Best thing to do from here is get a set of cams and a good rear end. Get with MDValdosta on the cams and anyone here will recommend 4.10's for your ride. Thats what I got coming in the mail.

4) The gears brand new will run about 159.00-179.00 and the install will cost about $175 to $250 depending on the area you live in. The cams will cost about $600 and im not to sure about the install. Maybe $300 im guessing.

5) The way to get your modifications in your signiture is to go to your profile and scroll down to "Signiture" and write all you want in there then scroll down to the bottom and hit "Apply" and there you have it.

LOL JD, there are a few cars running "SLOWmasters" in my area that will hand your *** to ya! A catback alone prolly isnt gonna win ya a race JD . Your car does sound very nice though.

Were the 99 GTs also rated 260 flywheel HP - which is what about 230ish rwhp? If so how is he only getting like 10rwhp from shorty headers, x pipe, catback, CAI, and UD pullies?

everyone is so interested in HP... why? your car is exactly as fast as your car is!!!! you guys post... i have 2 apples and a tangerine in my engine what horsepower do i have? the thing is that anything that you do to your car(with accurate research of course)will make your car perform better and go faster....=more horsepower

yea i know but i look at horsepower kind of like... the bench press of racing-there are many other things that are a greater indicator of strength that the bench and thats the same way i feel about HP
i mean its great to have a car with 500 hp, but there are so many things that affect how FAST your car is...
the weight of your car
can you put the power down
do you have the correct gearing
can you drive
can you launch
is your suspension up to par with your HP

just my opinion...
