Ok, I have a black 98 GT that is a bone stock 5spd. I just got the car in December and its everything I dreamed of.(pics soon) But I was wondering if there is anything that I could do to a bone stock GT to get more horse power or better performace in general. Is there anything that is restricting the engine? I am talking about not having to buy anything for the car, I am talking working with what I have. Any suggstions are welcome!!!

Well, your Heads, Cams, and Intake Manifold are pretty restrictive. But those are expensive.

I dont know if you have a air silencer, or a MAF screen, but both of those can be taken out. There's no such thing as Quick, Cheap, or Easy form of HP. Sorry bro

 

pi swap will net you the biggest bang for your buck

 

I am sorry but I have not clue what "pi swap" is, I am a complete newb...

 

Its a heads cams intake manifold(referred to as H/C/I) swap from a 99-04 GT.

 

You could also put a set of 4.10s in. Talking about 500 bucks installed, and it will really wake up the car.

 

if you want to play you gotta pay man....but +1 to the PI swap....your car is putting well less than 200 HP to the wheels stock, the PI swap will give you the same (even a little more) Hp than the 99-04 Mustangs
