Does a CAI really give 15 hp? I heard they actually do nothing. I am only asking, they look cool, but I wouldn't want to waste money on something under the hood that is for looks only and doesn't do jack for HP. Thanks

you'll get about 10HP out of it if your GT is bone stock.

JLT>all

here is the difference between a typical intake and the JLT..

The CAI sucks air from the fender wall, which is a lot cooler than the hot air coming from your engine. Therefore, it gives you a little more HP than the RAI does. On the downside, it is a lot harder to install, and a lot harder to maintain it and clean the filter when necessary. It also get A LOT dirtier faster than the RAI does. The HP difference between the two isn't a lot at all.

I chose to go with the RAI intake on my car because I want to be able to maintain it and clean it easily. I'll be able to clearly see when It's getting dirty, and I could easily remove it to access the rest of the engine easier.

But all in all, both intakes are better than any other out there. JLT is the best intake you can buy.
