Default Cams

i have a 2000 gt and have been hearing how cams make a car sound i think it makes a power difference too not really sure. I would probably get comp cams or cams from andersonfordmotorsport because they would install and tune it. How much would it be for everyhthing bought intstalled and tuned? cams are like 630 from anderson.

Current mods
slp catted x pipe
slp loud mouth 2 catback
jlt cold air intake
lower springs
rims and tires

With install + the cams and springs + a tune and a chip to put the tune on, I spent close to 1700 bucks total.

I'm also in the same boat, but cams do make more power (aftermaket ones, that is). From what I've read on here, anything above stage 1 cams require new springs...

Damn I want cams bad.

Cams can make the car sound a lot meaner, but not much of a power adder until you get to the higher rpms.

Getting you heads done will make waaay more of a difference.

BTW - I have a set of ported 2v head assemblies w/ Stage III Crower cams for sale
