Default Engine Noise...please help

I have a 2000 gt and it is making king of a knocking or pinging noise. it only does it under load, it wont do it before 2000rpms and it wont do it in neutral or with the clutch in... any ideas?

I also need a camber kit... any suggestions?

Did you advance your timing with a handheld programmer. What octane are you using. I had a issue with a predator tuner, back it off and it was fine.

Maybe you have a bad batch of gas. Try some cleaner. Do you have a tuner ?? When is the last time you changed you o-2 sensors ?? Did you just take it out of storage ??? Did you fill your tank up b4 you put it in storage. It's possible you have water in your tank. Im taking some guesses 2k. HAs any of the following happned ?

try putting premium into it, if the problem goes away then its nothing serious, like the others have said, bad gas or perhaps some extra carbon built up thats affecting the compression ratio ever so slightly. check the cooling system, if its low or bad quality then the heads aren't getting cooled like they should, a few extra degrees can make the difference.

i have my timing +2 degrees with a timing adjuster and underdrives. i run 87 octane. only in the hottest summer months do i have to put a higher grade fuel in. used to get pinging more often but i flushed out the radiator and added some water wetter with the new coolant and problem slolved. i do get pinging on 87 octane at 5000+ rpm's but i don't care as i am never up there, and if i'm out driving for fun, i fill with premium.
