Kinda a dumb question but i need to know to protect my $900+ investment.... Im running these
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...&tc=MTAHZ9....
What psi do i need to keep them at? I know that a usual mustang wheel would be kept at 32psi and these tires say to be kept at 52psi!! The guy at the tire shop said to never let them fall below 40psi!! So what do i keep these at?

dude i dont know but any normal street tire, high performance tire wtv is suppose to be kept at 32 psi. in no matter what case. its a tire. not a rig. plus those tires have the worst threadwear in the history of tires.cementcircles would last you longer.

Every tire has a diff psi on the side you don't want to put in the exact amount but around 5 or 10 less than it.

my michilin sport pilots i keep at 42psi, no premature wear anywhere and ridessmooth. i'd be nervous if i had 32psi in them; go around a corner at a high rate of speed and there goes the tire right off the rim.

PSI = Pounds per square inch ( i think lol) anyways, this means the pressure inside the tire will vary, by the weight of each vehicle, temperature of the road and atmosphere, etc.. The PSI stated on the tire is the MAX that the tire will hold, so if you put in 52 psi at night and then in theafternoon with the sun burning on the road, you drive for 2 hours, that pressure will increase and therefore increasing the pressure in the tire making it unsafe (well, not unsafe because that maximum psi already takes that condition into account). The recommended pressure (which is basically an average) is the PSI stated in your cars manual or in your glove compartment (my 2001 gt is there). If you take weight off your car or add weight to your car, the perfect psi for you weight would be different then stated by ford but minimum weight changes really arent a big deal. So basically I recommend you fill it to 32 psi BTW, I did not research or study this, If anyone thinks or knows Im talking out of my a hole, please say so and correct me, I like to learn new things everyday too
