Default Cruise Control

My cruise control wont work! Has anyone got any ideas?

Mine didnt work when I bought my car. All it was is the little cable that attaches to the throttle body was for some reason disconnected. So I hooked it back up and everything was good

Check your fuse and switch.

+1, check there first, there will be 2 cables, throttle and cc

You might want to check the 3rd brake light bulb.
Not sure about the Mustang, but some cars actually wire that into the cruise control circuit through the brake switch.
Just a thought if the TB connectors or brake pedal switch don't solve the problem.

If the previous suggestions don't work try your e-brake cable, Most c/c won't work even if it's on by one click. Maybe the E-brake indicator switch on the pedal might not be working.

i have a question. when u use the cruise control, should a light like up within the instrument panel, saying cruise or anything? cause my cc works, just no light on the panel

from the looks of it, doesnt look like there is a light that comes on... i have no light but my C/C works
