Wrong forum buddy. Try a google search if that's what you are really after.
Throttle response is a generic term that describes how quickly your engine responds to movement of the gas peddal. IE: When you romp the gas, there is less lag between RPM increase.
Na, I have a good sense of humor, and I'm all about nailing some one for posting something silly like installing spinners on a Mustang. I just don't get posting on a thread asking for a fairly simple answer if you don't plan on answering. Humor is ok. Humor + an answer is better.
i noticed a BIG difference in throttle response, nothing in the power dept tho
What's the true definition of throttle response?
Nothing in the power dept means no big noticeable HP gains I'm guessing, but the gas is touchier than before! When I upgraded my T/B my Throttle response was much sooner. I can barely touch my gas without the car jumping forwards! When you hit the gas and there is a hesitation or delay then you have bad throttle response, something the GM guys have a lot of!
So what about the IAC restrictor plates I have seen around eBay? I don't have an '03 mach which is seemingly always in need. I have an '04 auto. But I could always use more throttle response. Think it would help?
