Default Superchargers

Which should i get? Im getting either or with a magnaflow catback, full length subframes, upper/lower rear controll arms, and a diablo tuner. Keep in mind i have a steeda front strut tower brace, so idk if the saleen will have clearance issuses.

If you get the vortech kit from MPH I think it comes with a tuner. You should already have subframe conectors because you have a vert.

You'll be happy with either. Do your research and then make a decision. They're two different designs with different powerbands.

i voted Vortech cuz well...im kind of biased lol. but also i think if youre gonna go with a top mounted twin screw or roots design...KB is the only way to go. Saleen just seems too overpriced to me.

having said that...youll be happy with either one

I would definitely go with one of the s/c's.. you would be more satisfied with the results.. Like it was said previously though you need to figure out how you want to use it to determine which s/c to get.. the vortech is a good popular centrifugal s/c that I believe will give you more overall hp over the saleen but it does so in the higher rpm range.. You probably won't see any boost until around at least 3000rpms.. the saleen is a positive displacement blower and is controlled by throttle response not rpm’s.. so you floor it at 2000rpm you get almost full boost right away.. but like I said I don't think the saleen has as high of a total hp potential as the vortech.... Next time you are driving around I would look at your rpm's and see were you want the boost to come in..

Two words:

Kenne Bell.

I've had mine for over a year and couldn't be happier.

Well,, yeah.. if he has the money he should do a KB setupbut they are at least a couple grand over the two s/c's he mentioned so it might be out of his price range.
