Ok i have all the mods listed in my sig and my car hit 7 psi at redline. I want more boost. Sooo I have a question. I still have the stock MAF and i wanna change it out when i change my boost pulley. Can i switch it to a lightning MAF along with a 10 lb pulley without gettin a re-tune? on my orignal tune my AF was 11.5

You would probably be ok... but I would get it tuned just to be on the safe side... but I am also a perfectionist, I say youd be ok... but wait till the peak time when there are 50 people on here and 5 of them will be able to help you more!

 

Are you pegging your MAF?? If so I'd say get a MAFia from Diablo that way you'll not need a re-tune

 

so you're sayin that with the lightning i would need a tune, but if i got the mafia then i wouldnt need a tune? either way its gettin a .25' smaller pulley. its 3.25 now and a 3"is whats goin on.

 

well since your car is F/I, a tune isnt going to hurt you either way... the tune will help your car squeeze that extra amount of power that is still available from your mods, but you wont see anything drastic until you switch to stage 2 or 3 heads and cams

 

yea i know but if i dont need a tune then i'd just rather wait till i get my cams and then tune it 3-4 months from now
