I've recently installed a B&M Ripper in my 2001 GT, and it works all right, but when I place it in any gear it doesnt feel like its firm because you can move it around while its in gear. Ive checked all the bolts and they are all tight, and I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar and could give some more things to check or look at.

 

Did you move the plastic shift button (at the bottom of the lever) from the old shifter to the new unit?
