ok so the other day i was on mustang world cuz i heard of this dumba$$ piece that ford put on the earlier mustangs called as the air silencer. so i wanted to see if i could hear the difference between in being on and off so i got in my car and started it (i love the purr that comes from the car). then i popped the hood closed the door and my friend and i took off the air silencer and then i got back into the car and started (no difference if you care). then i bought these chrome vynal letters off of ebay (look AMAZING. i was worried that they would look cheezy on the black but even i got a compliment from my friend that is a camaro SS). i left some paper work that i had for school in the car so i got back in locked the doors from the inside... BAMM keys still in the IGNITION.

needless to say i have some connections and i had like 4 firefighters trying to slim jim it and it didn't work so tonight (this happened on monday) my friend (with the SS) called AAA and they came in an hour and got my keys out in less then a minute. he pryed it open with a wedge then, like the instument the doctor uses to take your blood pressure, puffed out the window and clicked my power lock and i had my keys back.

Three lessons:
1. don't lock your keys in the car
2. have a spare if you do the previous often
3. have a friend that has the top tier of AAA (if you don't already have it)

 

I have NAC and their guys are just as good...

 

That sucks, but you really couldnt tell a difference with the air silencer off? I could hear a sucking sound, but i took mine off before my LMIs so that sucking sound was the only sound my car made.

 

same happened to me when i had my old 98.
i was at a High school football game haha. the girl cop got it unlocked in less thn 5min.
she was bitchen the whole time about the 5% tint, but she got over it.
haha. at least u got it out. now go on ebay, and get some keys and key fabs and program them!!!!!
they are real easy. they come w/ instructions too so thats not a problem.

 

i could hear it if i had the hood open and was revving it but in the car nahh i couldn't hear anything

 

i learned my lesson the first time i did that

 

LOL on the Evidence Erradication Team (Fire Dept.) not being able to do it. Glad it worked out.

 

Their normal way in is to bust a window.. takes less than a second
