Default car to low??

well today i was getting a oil change, three places i went to had drive on lifts and they couldnt get my car on there??? i have amach lip and lowering springs ( not eibach or steeda some brand my friend gave me from his stang Drop Zone) then i go to this place that does oil and free car wash. cant fit on lift or car wash and the guy was like ur car is illegal he measured my cars height from the ground it was like 4 1/2 in? what are the heights of ur stangs??? also i found a place with the pit in the ground for the oil change and i had to back in lol. any ideas

new springs might raise it or remove lip?

thanks matt

Your car is perfect dont change it. Also just for an FYI advanced auto parts or any local auto part stores take your old oil for free, so you can get rid of it , instead of letting it sit in your garage in a bucket, "been there".

I have the same problem. I doubt your car is illegal, mine looks like the same height. Change your own oil, I found out the hard way when the oil tech didn't stop me until my headers went up on the pit. Pissed me off. But its going to be a losing battle for most oil changes. I got some plastic ramps that worked with my lowered car when I got to get under it. Sweet looking ride, nice job.

if your side skirts are above your outer rim on the bottom your car is legal (from what i've heard)

all the places you went to have dumb people working there...at work when we get a dropped or slammed car and we want it on the lift we just put rubber blocks in front of the lift so after it gets up there it doesnt fall back down, then you can put blocks under the car and have your way with it...if they dont have blocks or w/e the case may be they can just jack that mo fo
