Hey are ceramic coated headers that much better than chrome, are they worth the extra money? what do they do better? how much more HP will I see out of ceramic coated than chrome? And do ceramic coated headers rust?

 

You wont see any extra horsepower. The ceramic coating is to prevent rust. Buy the ceramics.

They will all eventually rust. The ceramic will just last longer. It will also not heat up as much.

ceramic coating is mainly for heat distributuion. The ceramic coating will prevent the headers from getting as hot as chrome, thus reducing the heat under your hood as well as the temp of the air your engine will breath. as far as rust. I dont think you'll have to worry (with chrome) for quite a while.

 

Also has anyone ever herd of Flowtech Exhaust? are they any good?

 

getr ceramic coated... case closed... the crhome isnt as good since it rusts... no hp gains... they are the same size....
